Annelies Egli
Born, raised and educated in Switzerland. Studied Foundation studies (Art & Design) at Schule Fuergestaltung, Zurich. Moved to London 1985. Studied a Fine Art Degree (specialising in sculpture) at Bristol Polytechnic then a MA course in Fine Art at UWIC, Cardiff.
I’m interested in scale, light and processes of change such as metamorphosis and alchemy; in processes of transformation, be they of image, material or idea.
Most of my work develops over long periods of time and undergoes many changes before completion.
