Carol Mackenzie

I studied Textiles at University College, Farnham, specialising in traditional printing techniques. My training was underpinned by the disciplines of academic drawing and painting. I have gained a further degree in Art History.  This experience has stimulated a series of textile pieces imbued with historical, cultural and mythological associations. I am also a part-time tutor and lecturer in Art, Design and Textiles.

My large-scale pieces are highly suitable for exhibiting in prestigious office situations and public spaces. Botanical subjects are a recurrent theme and private collectors across Europe and throughout the world, readily seek out my smaller and more intimate works.
