Jackie Johnson

I work in textile and clay work I explore the interface between the two by producing crocheted and knitted forms, dipping these in clay slip and firing the dried forms. My previous experience as a mathematics teacher left me with an appreciation of shape and strong simple forms figure highly in this work.
