Ginny Epstein

Biography; My excitement about feltmaking pre-dated my textile degree so I had a focus already and that fascination has stayed with me.

My work has evolved from whole designs with my felt to chopping it up and re-assembling it with simple stitchery-both hand and machine with some applique.
I am passionate about colours and love the way dyed fibres blend without loosing their vibrancy and how juxtaposing a variety of colours finally come to resolution in the completed design.

As a teacher I have enjoyed introducing a variety of techniques to many children and adults.
