Sari Byrne

Originally trained as an illustrator, I was drawn to the more tactile medium of textiles as I found this enabled me to more fully realise my ideas of texture and dimension.

My current work falls broadly into two areas - that of landscape, which draws on my personal experiences of the countryside, and a more experimental approach which brings together images and memories of past and present.
